Are You Taking Care of Yourself?
How are you feeling?
I know a lot of people are struggling with colds and viruses right now, so I thought it would be a good time to check in and ask,
Are you looking after yourself?
How are you looking after yourself?
Are you making self-care a priority?
There are many factors that can lead us to feeling unwell. Often it's our bodies way of asking us to rest, so we can naturally purge what needs to be released and allow our bodies to upgrade.
But, in a fast paced world, we can often see ‘illness’ as an inconvenience or something we have to push through and carry on.
The more we push through and don't allow our bodies to rest, the greater the symptoms that will be presented to make us stop.
The lowering of our immunity happens when our vibrational frequency drops and we become in resonance with other lower frequencies, including bacteria and viruses.
There are many internal and external factors why our frequency can drop from trapped emotions, our stress levels, anxiety, overwhelm, our relationships, what we’re consuming in our diets, what we’re consuming through our thoughts and feelings, what we’re watching, reading, listening to. Electromagnetic radiation.
When I was in the lingerie industry, I was always getting ill. I used to hold the belief that I just had a weak immune system, so would pick up everything going.
The truth was, I was very stressed, overworked and living my life in survival and hypervigilence from the trauma I was holding. I was just very unconscious to that.
So, no wonder I had a low immunity! I definitely didn't prioritise myself or my self-care.
Now, I'm rarely ill and would like to share some of the natural ways I keep my frequency high and myself in good health.
🧡 I prioritise my own needs and self-care
🧡 I met myself and my trauma
🧡 I continue to acknowledge and LOVE everything that comes up for healing and release from within
🧡 I regularly walk in nature
🧡 I regularly meditate
🧡 I drink lots of water
🧡 I speak Light Language everyday
🧡 I clear and protect my energy everyday
🧡 I use my crystals and Tibetan sound bowl everyday
🧡 I take a vitamin D supplement everyday
🧡 When guided, I take other supplements, but always ask my body what does it need.
🧡 I'm vegetarian and eat healthily most of the time, but I do have a weakness for chocolate! 😜
🧡 I give myself permission to rest
🧡 I'm kind and compassionate with myself
🧡 I'm not perfect!
Now, you may or may not think that's a lot and you don't have time for that. But, actually it doesn't take that much time when it becomes your routine.
We're very good at distracting ourselves with our phones, social media, Netflix, whatever your go to is. I've lost hours on social media that felt like 5 mins and thought, I could have done a meditation, or read some more of that book!
It's a choice just how much we prioritise ourselves and our wellbeing, or how much we keep making excuses why we don't.
And that might sound harsh, but we know it's the truth.
If we want a different outcome to how we're feeling, we have to make changes.
Today/tomorrow is the Autumn Equinox (in the UK), so an ideal time to look at your life and see where you need to bring more balance.
As I'm self-employed, I haven't quite got the balance right yet, but I am a working progress, as we all are!
Once we become self-aware and conscious, we can't go back to sleep!
We keep observing and we keep bringing ourselves back to balance and back into our heart.
It is a devotional practice and it is a choice.
