Breaking Down to Breakthrough
When we begin our journey of self-love and self-mastery, the experience is bittersweet.
We are giving ourselves the most amazing gift we could ask for. The gift to finally see ourselves as we truly are without the distorted lens of conditioning.
To finally acknowledge all the parts of us that have been waiting to be seen. The parts of us waiting to be heard and given their voice.
When we realise we're the ones we've been waiting for, that it's us that has to go in and shine the light on the darkness, it can feel very vulnerable and raw.
It's not an easy journey meeting your pain, but it's a very rewarding and empowering one.
The eclipse energy definitely prompted us yet again to dig even deeper and become aware of what we're stilling holding/avoiding within ourselves. Venus retrograde also helped us to observe where we're at with loving and valuing ourselves and how that reflects in our outer relationships and boundaries.
You may have felt the shifts and upgrades, you may have felt the deeper challenges. You may have wondered what all the fuss was about! But the after effects and energy of death (of the old) and rebirth is ever present and moving through us as we further expand.
In my recent 7 Day Light Language offering, I talked about how 'perfectionism' had come up for me again and where there was more to acknowledge and let go.
When we're brought up in very critical and judgemental environments as children, beliefs and conditioning set in, that we're not good enough, or acceptable as we are. And so we can spend a life time seeking perfection, to ultimately feel good enough!
And that's exhausting on all levels!
But we have so many catalysts lining up this year inviting us to keep letting go and shedding the old, including this being a Year 9 of completion and Year of the Snake.
And remember, all emotions are valid to be felt and expressed.
And ultimately under those emotions is another layer ready to go.
Another experience and part of us that has been held in the body.
Befriend all of your uncomfortable emotions and use them for further opportunity to grow.
For greater self-awareness and clarity.
For further release.
And, observe any potential avoidance or denial in giving space to what is arising from within you.
Remember that, every time you might feel like you can't do it, or want to get off the ride!
Your next breakthrough is just around the corner.
You're so powerful, you just have to keep remembering who you truly are!

In my monthly healing meditation on Monday, there was a focus on the lower three chakras and in particular the sacral for many.
The sacral womb space is our place of creation and creativity.
